BuildingPermitCost How Avondale calculates your permit fee
The city charges a building permit fee using a fee table based on project value, plus a $102.00 application fee, with a $50.00 minimum. Plan review is a separate charge: 65% of the permit fee. Electrical, plumbing and mechanical work gets its own permits.

Not stated in the schedule. The fee schedule prices permits by 'Total Valuation' but does not say how valuation is determined (the Building Division page that may explain it returned 403).

- Building permit fee: $1,247.00 for the first $100,000.00 + $8.00 × 250 per $1,000.00 over = $3,247.00
- Application fee: fixed = $102.00
- Plan review fee: 65% of $3,247.00 = $2,110.55
- Total before trade permits: $5,459.55.
