How Fort Myers calculates your permit fee
The city charges a building permit fee using a fee table based on project value. Plan review is a separate charge: 30% of the permit fee (minimum $78.00).
The fee table

|---|---|
| $1 – $100,000 | $101.00 + $12.04 per additional $1,000 |
| $100,001 – $250,000 | $1,305.00 for the first $100,000 + $4.75 per additional $1,000 |
| $250,001 – $500,000 | $2,017.00 for the first $250,000 + $4.50 per additional $1,000 |
| $500,001 – $1,000,000 | $3,142.00 for the first $500,000 + $3.75 per additional $1,000 |
| Over $1,000,000 | $5,017.00 for the first $1,000,000 + $3.00 per additional $1,000 |
