What counts as project value
ICC Building Valuation Data table. Commercial page: valuation required for all work; the Inspections Department uses current ICC building valuation data as a guide, less 15% for local area considerations; the Building Official makes the final determination. The residential schedule does not state its valuation method.
Worked example: a $350,000 new home
- Building permit fee: $600.44 for the first $100,000.00 + $3.06 × 250 per $1,000.00 over = $1,365.44
- Total before trade permits: $1,365.44.
